Hosting, server logs and WebAnalytics
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, IONOS processes technical access data required to provide the service. This includes the referrer, requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and an IP address anonymised at the point of collection.
IONOS also uses this data for the WebAnalytics function included with the hosting package. We do not add our own tracking code or create personal user profiles. According to IONOS, visitor data is retained for eight weeks, is not shared with third parties and is not transferred outside the EU.
The processing serves the secure, stable and technically reliable provision of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Further details are available in the IONOS privacy information for Webhosting products.
Contact
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide, in particular your name, contact details, message and any project information, to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to take steps before entering into or performing a contract. Depending on the context, the legal bases are Article 6(1)(b) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Providing this information is generally voluntary. Without the contact and enquiry details required for a response, however, we cannot handle your request. Certain information may be required to enter into and perform a contract.
The relevant email and telecommunications providers are involved in the technical transmission. The data is retained only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, manage the business relationship and comply with legal retention requirements.
Recipients and transfers to third countries
Personal data is disclosed only to recipients that require it for the purposes described in this policy. These may include IONOS as the hosting provider, the communications providers used for email and telephone, professional advisers bound by confidentiality and public authorities where disclosure is required by law. We do not sell personal data.
According to IONOS, the hosting and WebAnalytics data described above is processed within the EU. Once you have consented, external media providers may transfer data to third countries, in particular the United States. Where required, the providers state that such transfers are based on a European Commission adequacy decision, in particular the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses under Article 46 GDPR. Further information and details on how to obtain a copy of the relevant safeguards are available in the privacy policies linked for Vimeo, Google and Meta.
Privacy preference
The website stores your external-media preference in your browser's local storage under the key jumado_consent_v1. Only the selected preference, the version of the consent system and the time of the decision are stored. No unique user ID is created and this information is not transmitted to us.
This local storage is necessary to respect your selection without asking again after every page change. The website asks again after no more than 180 days. You can change or withdraw your preference at any time:

External links to Instagram, Vimeo, YouTube or other websites do not load third-party content within this website. If you open such a link, the privacy terms of the destination website apply.
TLS encryption and security
The publicly accessible website is served over HTTPS. This encrypts data transmitted between your browser and the web server using TLS. We also take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorised access and unlawful alteration.
